When asked "Would you like to open the file or save it to your computer?" CLICK OPEN |

After the file finishes downloading you may be
asked: "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run
this software?" Click RUN. |

When the MaxView InstallShield Wizard starts click NEXT. |

The InstallShield Wizard will begin the prepare for installation. When the wizard is loaded it will ask you to click NEXT. |

After you have reviewed and agreed to MaxView's License Agreement click YES. |

The InstallShield Wizaed will ask you what folder you want to install MaxView. By default most programs are installed in C:\Program Files\. Click NEXT. |

The InstallShield Wizard will ask you what folder in your start menu you want to install the MaxView shortcut icons. By default most programs are installed in into their own folders. Click NEXT. |

File type Association determines which program will run when you open a file. For example: letter.doc might open in Microsoft Word. The InstallShield Wizard is asking you what file extensions you want to associate with Maxview. We recommend unchecking TIFF. When your ready, click NEXT. |

A WordPad file called ReadMe.rtf will popup in a different window. You may read or CLOSE THIS FILE by clicking the X button in the top right corner of the window. |
| Step #11 | Do you want to install AE Plans? Click NO. | |

Installation is complete. Click FINISH. You may also want to see the section on opening MaxView for the first time. |

MaxView and Windows Vista
Vista requires you to set certain programs to "Run As Administrator." To configure MaxView to do this use the following steps: Install MaxView. right click on the MaxView icon on the desktop, select properties. Click on the Compatibility tab. Put a checkmark in the box next to "Run As Administrator." Click OK. |
